Jardins d’Arménie: The art of Royal Brandy

A new name joins the world of fine spirits. Born from Armenian heritage and crafted for connoisseurs, Jardins d’Arménie introduces the world’s first Royal Brandy – a spirit that blends innovation, authenticity, and the pursuit of excellence. In Monaco’s Hôtel Hermitage, a new chapter in the story of fine spirits was unveiled

In September, in the presence of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and the Ambassador of Armenia to France, Arman Khachatryan, Jardins d’Arménie Royal Brandy made its official European debut – a refined encounter between heritage, innovation, and modern craftsmanship.

For Armen Pogossian, 27, CEO of Cigaronne and Newline Brands Global LLC, the project is both a tribute and a challenge: to create something unmistakably Armenian, yet capable of standing among the world’s most distinguished spirits. “Jardins d’Arménie isn’t just another brandy – it’s the first Royal Brandy,” he says. “The idea was to craft something that carries the soul of Armenia while speaking the universal language of excellence.”

A spirit born from innovation

What sets Jardins d’Arménie apart begins at its source. Unlike cognac or traditional brandy, it is made from the indigenous Voskehat grape, prized for its aromatic balance and structure. The brandy undergoes a distinctive three-stage aging process – oak, apricot wood, then oak again – creating a rare aromatic complexity. The result is an elegant spirit with layers of chocolate, vanilla, fruit, and dried fruit, firmly anchored in the Armenian terroir.

“The apricot tree is part of our national identity,” explains Armen Pogossian. “Its wood adds warmth and subtle spice – nuances that make Jardins d’Arménie unlike any other spirit. These details define the Royal Brandy’s signature.”

The concept of “Royal Brandy” isn’t just a label – it’s a new standard, rooted in transparency, integrity, and respect for craftsmanship. Armen Pogossian wanted to create a spirit that embodies refinement without excess, depth without artifice.

Crafted for the collectors eye and the connoisseurs palate

The presentation is as considered as the liquid itself. The handcrafted case and patented hermetic cap combine engineering precision with aesthetic refinement. “These innovations are at the heart of our DNA,” Armen Pogossian says. “The apricot-wood barrels bring a uniquely Armenian signature, while the hermetic cap guarantees preservation and authenticity.

Together, they set a new benchmark in an industry where image often overshadows substance.” Even the tasting set, allowing enthusiasts to sample the aroma before opening the bottle, rethinks the luxury experience. “Luxury should never be superficial,” Armen adds. “We want people to choose Jardins d’Arménie for its craftsmanship and authenticity, not for status. Elegance, discipline, and sincerity are the pillars of our house.”

Heritage, vision, and the future of fine Spirits

For Armen Pogossian, Jardins d’Arménie is both an act of continuity and of innovation. The son of Simon Pogossian, founder of SPS Cigaronne, he has grown up in a culture of precision and artistry. Today, he channels that legacy into a new field – one that connects Armenia’s deep-rooted craftsmanship with a global vision.

“My goal is to reinterpret Armenian heritage through innovation, so it resonates with the modern collector,” he reflects. Produced in limited quantities, each bottle of Jardins d’Arménie Royal Brandy is more than a spirit – it’s a statement. For collectors and connoisseurs, it offers a glimpse of what the future of refinement could look like: sustainable, transparent, and deeply human. Jardins d’Arménie Royal Brandy – a new chapter in the art of spirits, where heritage meets integrity.
