George Condo x Monacqua – A unique collaboration

George Condo x Monacqua – A unique collaboration

Starting Spring 2025, Monacqua will make the work of George Condo – one of the greatest living contemporary artists – accessible to all through a special collaboration that brings art into everyday life.

Monacqua was created by local resident and mother of three Geeta Kalwani with a single ambition: to redefine bottled water for the conscious consumer. Launched in 2022 out of her profound respect for nature and a desire to mirror that in our everyday consumption, Monacqua seeks to improve our everyday lives by moving from plastic to paper. A philosophy rooted in the idea that small, continuous changes can lead to a meaningful, lasting impact, known in Japanese as kaizen.

Sourced from the ancient springs in Europe (historical records trace these springs back to the Roman times in 400 BC), this naturally mineral-rich water is packaged with purity and purpose in both glass and carton formats. Every detail, from sourcing to presentation, reflects the brand’s deep commitment to sustainability and mindful living.

Unchanged pricing: Unlike most art collaborations, these limited-edition bottles will be priced at their regular rates so that everyone, not just collectors, can engage with global culture.

Auction for impact: George Condo will also sign a few exclusive bottles that will be auctioned at the end of the year. Simon de Pury has generously offered to conduct the auction for Monacqua.

One hundred per cent of the proceeds will benefit the Princess Grace Foundation and its work with children in need.

“Art is the water that our souls are yearning for and Monacqua is the water that our bodies are craving
for. The collaboration between George Condo and Monacqua is symbolic of the love story between the artist and the Principality of Monaco”. – Simon de Pury, celebrated auctioneer, curator, and former
Chairman of Sotheby’s Europe

This initiative brings together sustainability, culture, and philanthropy.
