We respect your privacy

Once you registered into the UHNW Business Club members directory you will have full control over your profile data.

Visibility settings: You have absolute flexibility on the profile fields, allowing you to individually adjust them as: public / members only / friends only / completely hidden.

E-mail settings: The online platform of the UHNW Business Club offers and internal messaging system. You have a flexibility to define who can send you a message. For example members only, friends only or group members too.

We will never share your personal e-mail with any third party. We respect your privacy.

Event attendees: If you attend to one of our events, then we ensure the guest list only to those who had a valid ticket to that specific event. However the name of the guests doesn't contains any other contact details.

How people can control their data?

All the listed companies and private individuals have FULL control over their listed data. Members and listed companies, personnels can decide which data can be presented and also they have the potential to declare whether their profile without contact data is available for public or just for members only.

Based on the individual request we can immediately (practically within 24 hours) remove any data from our database.

Please note that if you give out personal information online through a discussion board or posting site, that information can be collected and used by third parties. Although we strive to protect our users’ privacy, we cannot guarantee the security of information you post in these forums. You disclose such information at your own risk.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

The GDPR is the new European framework for the processing and dissemination of personal data. It applies from 25 May 2018 on and it standardises the personal data legislation of EU Member States. It aims to give all EU residents more control over their personal data and make those who are responsible for and process this data more accountable, while reducing preliminary formalities with regulators, and strengthen the role of the Data Protection Authorities.

In light of recent news about the new EU Privacy law (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), the UHNW Business Club wants to reinforce that your user data is safe with us. We do not share it with anyone outside our membership area.

Our UHNW Business Club member subscription model enables us to operate without having to cater to advertisers. This ensures that the UHNW Business Club can focus its efforts on the members and not on advertisers, and that we can keep your data private, just as it has been doing since its first days of foundation of our mother company, Monaco Wealth Management in August 2010.

It is very important to clarify that the protection of personal data has always been considered as one of our main key services. The UHNW Business Club offers an internal communication platform for members.

Membership data

The Site offers a membership program. In order to process payments via PayPal and/or credit card, the following information is utilized: the member’s full name, email address, physical address, payment details.

The Site offers access to various Monaco based events, lectures and seminars. If you register for a professional seminar, for example, the information is used to reserve your seat, to track your preferences, and to keep you informed about the seminar and related events.

As a visitor to our Sites, you can engage in many activities without providing any personal information. In connection with other activities, such as utilizing registering for a seminar or participating in a sweepstakes, connect with fellow UHNW Business Club members, therefore we may ask you to provide certain information about yourself by filling out and submitting an online form.

It is completely optional for you to engage in these activities. If you elect to engage in these activities. If you do not provide the mandatory data with respect to a particular activity, you will not be able to engage in that activity.

In all cases, we will collect personal identification information from you only if you voluntarily submit such information to us. We will also tell you how we use your information or if we share it with another party. Except as otherwise provided in this policy, we will never intentionally disclose any personal identification information about you as an individual user to any third party without having received your permission.

If you supply us with your contact information you may receive periodic e-mails, mailings or calls from us with information on new products and services, important issues, or upcoming events.

When you use our Sites, we or our authorized technology services provider may also collect certain technical and routing information from you to facilitate your use of the Site and its services. We use this information to administer the Site and to understand and measure traffic patterns on the Site so that we know which areas of our sites are favorites of our users, which areas need improvement, and what technologies are being used so that we may continually improve our sites.

This information is collected in aggregate form, without identifying you or any user individually. This data is often tracked by us our our technology services provider by using “cookies” during your visit.

A cookie is small amount of data that is transferred to your browser by a web server and can only be read by the server that gave it to you. It functions as your identification card and enables us to record your passwords, purchases, and preferences. It cannot be executed as code or deliver viruses. When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Cookies and the UHNW Business Club – Standard site

Our membership site make use of cookies for a variety of different purposes. These include those that are ‘strictly necessary’ for technical reasons; those that enable a personalized experience for our members and registered users. Based on our knowledge the cookies we use are only set if a visitor is a registered UHNW Business Club member.

Strictly Necessary

These are the cookies that are essential for the member sections on the UHNW Business Club to perform its basic functions. These include those required to allow registered users to authenticate and perform account related functions, as well as to save the contents of virtual ‘carts’ on the UHNW Business Club that have an e-commerce functionality.

Third Party/Embedded Content

The UHNW Business Club make use of different third party applications and services to enhance the experience of website visitors. These include social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Eventbrite and Twitter (through the use of sharing buttons), or embedded content from Youtube and Vimeo. As a result, cookies may be set by these third parties, and used by them to track your online activity. We have no direct control over the information that is collected by these cookies.

Third Party Cookies – Advertisement

The UHNW Business Club uses JetPack as an integrated banner advertisement solution.

JetPack collects and send the following information (made available from the visitor’s browser) to their Demand Partners: IP address, geographical data (derived from the IP address), user agent, operating system, device type, unique user ID (randomly generated identifier), current URL, and IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) interest category.

Data Retention: Log data (IP address, geographical data, user agent, operating system, device type) is stored for 30 days. The unique user ID is stored in cookies and is retained for 1 year.

JetPack tracks ad impressions, video-related events (i.e. pause, mute, 100% plays, etc.) or errors, and ad click events.

Exceptions to Privacy Policy

While we are committed to keeping your information secure and private, we have the following exceptions to our privacy policy: We will release specific information about you or your account to comply with any valid legal inquiry or process such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute or court order.

We will also release specific information in special cases, such as if there is an attempted breach of the security of the Sites, or a physical or property threat to you or others. We may also transfer user information, including personally identifiable information, in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, the sale of related assets or corporate division or other fundamental corporate change. Further, the information you enter when making a purchase or an online donation will be shared with payment processors, financial gateways, and your credit card company to authorize credit card payments. The Site uses some 3rd Party plugins just as JetPack, WooCommerce, BuddyPress, etc.
