Similar to a Jet Ski or a traditional motorbike,  the speed is regulated via the control grip. It was created by British sculptor, Jason deCaires Taylor who envisioned the world’s first underwater sculpture park to engage local people with the underwater environment that surrounds them using his works which are derived from life casts of the local community. The installation includes sixty-five concrete individual sculptures covering an area of over 800 square meters.

Impressive diving depths of the SeaBob is up to 40 metres and can be programmed to suit individual requirements via  on-board electronics. A safety cut-off feature reliably ensures that the selected diving depth is not exceeded.

However, there are diving locations to fulfil our curiosity and need for something more special. One of these exceptional diving places is the Great Blue Hole, a giant marine sinkhole off the coast of Belize. It lies near the center of Lighthouse Reef, a small atoll 70 km (43 mi) from the mainland and Belize City.

It is one of the most unique dive sites in the world and impressively, it is big enough to be seen from space as well.

The hole is circular in shape, 318 m (1,043 ft) across and 124 m (407 ft) deep. This is a dark and serene dive which requires more than a SeaBob to dive into.

There are all sorts of unique rock formations down in the hole, and all types of species of fish, including midnight parrotfish, sharks, angelfish, purple seafans, Pederson’s shrimp, and more.
