Tony Parker and Richard Orlinski at Sunset

Tony Parker and Richard Orlinski at Sunset

Four times NBA Champion Tony Parker and Richard Orlinski, the best-selling French contemporary artist in the world, visited Sunset.

Sunset is renowned for being the meeting place for celebrities and big names in international sport. Among them, we find in particular: Justin Bieber, Bob Sinclar, Jason Derulo, Bella Hadid, driving aces such as Max Verstappen, Nico Rosberg, Pierre Gasly, as well as tennis figures like Matteo Berrettini, without forgetting Lando Norris, Jasmin Tookes, Adrien Brody, Nico Hulkenberg, Jenson Button, André Villas-Boas, Daniel Ricciardo or Charles Leclerc.

In 2024, Sunset is back from May 24 to 26, for an 11th edition which promises to be even more exceptional, on the famous Méridien Beach Plaza. For the occasion, new spaces will complement the existing offering, while a real return to basics is planned.

While the Monaco Grand Prix takes over the Principality which vibrates to the rhythm of the F1 races, Sunset takes over the Méridien Beach Plaza for three days of celebration. The choice of this hotel, with its feet in the water, is not due to chance.

The organizers have selected an ideal location, facing the Big Blue, accessible by tender, and where you can arrive just after qualifying and immediately after the F1 race. The perfect alliance between a festival and a beach party, since 2013, Sunset has been the place where Monegasques and the international jet-set meet, from noon to midnight. Far from the sometimes stuffy atmospheres of GP evenings, Sunset stands out as a unique space where you feel comfortable and where you come to be part of a community. Everyone brings their own personality, without fearing the judgment of others, but only to party.

With their feet in the sand, a drink in their hand and the Mediterranean as a backdrop, to the rhythm of the sets of the guest DJs, the participants let themselves be carried away… They take advantage of the present moment and share the same desire to savor each moment in an atmosphere that is both chic and bohemian, and without artifice. On the decks, around ten artists from the underground scene – some at the peak of their careers and others in the making – take turns, while different happenings complete the Made in Sunset experience. A Nirvana for the senses…

Richard Orlinski

To meet all the expectations of its community, and continue to surprise its guests, Sunset unveiled an exhibition of several masterful works by the great Richard Orlinski.

With the ambition to bring art out of the galleries, Richard Orlinski will exhibit 3 monumental works on the beach at the Méridien Beach Plaza – from May 24 to 26 – including a completely new creation in the colors of the Monaco beach party.

Richard Orlinski also met the Sunsetters on Friday, May 24, and invited them to a meeting session allowing them to chat with him and discover his creative universe.

Luciano

A daring musical program composed of big names from the international scene…

With a career spanning more than two decades, Luciano has established himself as a key artist on the global electronic scene. His style, between minimalist techno and Latin rhythms, captivates. An expert in the art of capturing the energy of a crowd, Luciano produces live sets which are a unique experience promising to leave an impression.

If Sunset is synonymous with celebration, it is also the place where art is fully expressed. Dancers, light shows and other performances punctuate the event. For three days, surprise and delight await you and, like every year, a spectacular fireworks display closes the festivities.

Operating in several sectors such as ready-to-wear, international trade and music, co-founder of Sunset, Cédric Houdrouge is a globe-trotting entrepreneur who draws his inspiration from his numerous travels. A true “music addict”, he is always looking for new musical and artistic discoveries.

Among the Friday night guests of Sunset one could spot the legendary former NBA player Tony Parker as well.

Anthony Parker is a French-American former professional basketball player and majority owner of ASVEL Basket in the LNB Pro A. Parker started his career at Paris Basket Racing in the French basketball league before joining the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was selected by the Spurs with the 28th overall pick in the 2001 NBA draft, and quickly became their starting point guard. Parker won four NBA championships (2003, 2005, 2007, and 2014), all of which were with the Spurs. He retired as the ninth leading scorer and fifth leading passer in NBA playoffs history.
